The James Smith Cree Nation and Siemens Healthineers Canada have finalized a Master Research Agreement. Through a partnership between the James Smith Cree Nation and the University of Saskatchewan College of Medicine, the new MRI lab will open its doors for research projects and educational opportunities for Indigenous youth.
The new lab will be able to complete approx. 20 scan’s per day, reducing the backlog in the province. The addition of the new 6,000 sf MRI lab & the new 10,000 sf Community Health Centre, have spearheaded the shift in focus of Market Mall to a more community-oriented centre providing both retail and service-oriented uses to the Saskatoon community.
